Following the February 2013 engine room fire
aboard the cruise ship Carnival Triumph, some
passengers are seeking damages in the form of a
lawsuit seeks class action status for “stranding
more than 3,000 passengers for five days on a
ship without electricity or adequate sanitation.”

Carnival Cruise Line’s Triumph-Destiny class
ships. It measures 893 in length, with a
