Fall 2024 The U.S. Department of Justice filed a civil claim against Grace Ocean Private Limited and Synergy Marine Private Limited on September 18, 2024. These are the companies that owned and operated the container ship Dali, which allided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in March 2026. The amount of damages claimed in the suit are $100 million.
