May 2025 An altercation occurred between two passengers on the cruise ship Resilient Lady, operated by Virgin Voyages. The incident resulted one of the passengers facing federal criminal charges (see Cruise Ship Crimes) for allegedly choking another passenger in one of the cruise ship's cocktail lounges while he said, “I’ll f—king kill you.” The incident occurred on Monday, March 31, 2025 when the vessel was about 70 miles off Martinique, en route to San Juan Puerto Rico. The wife of the passenger accused of the attack had asked a another passenger to put his shoes on while on the dance floor. The passenger responded to her request with expletives and showing his middle finger. Shortly afterward, the woman's husband came on the scene and allegedly attacked the barefoot passenger. The husband was confined to his cabin and afterwards charged with assault. Read More
